The
village of Viarigi is situated in the northern part of Monferrato,
surrounded by a lovely countryside of woods and vineyards
in the middle of an ideal triangle linking three important
towns: Asti, Casale Monferrato and Alessandria. Between Viarigi
and its hamlet live about 1000 people. The ancient tower,
emblem of the village, has medieval origins; with church’s
bell tower identifies the village, though if you look at it
from a long distance. “Locanda del Monacone” is
situated in the main road of Viarigi, at the beginning if
you come from Asti or Casale Monferrato, at the end if you
come from Alessandria. |
